Summer Wildflower Show

Along the Natural Path Early mid-June 2016

The rains have given up, the earth is cracking, but the stream is still full and moving. Wildflowers are still quite abundant, but we’re also seeing meadows of dried up grass. Weed seeds are crispy and ready to latch on to your clothes for quick transport to your home.

“Oh, hi! If you want to plant me near your front porch, I’d be happy to move in. Pretty nice land you’ve got here.”

Here’s a look at what I’m seeing on my morning hikes.
