Along the Natural Path Late June 2016

Streams slow down now, fish in the pools look lazier, but the turtles are still seeing me coming from far enough off that I can't ever get them on a pic. Fine eyesight, those guys. Chief defense, second only to those big honking shells, I suspect.

Rain is a mostly distant memory now that El Niño shifts to La Niña. Hate to think of another record draught coming, but I should probably just accept it. Lot of straws in the "milk shake" (our aquifer) out here these days. And the desert marches ever Eastward towards us.

Here's a look at what I'm seeing on my morning hikes.

How to make a slideshow out of these tiny pics

Click an image. Boom! Full size! Whooo!

There’s a couple of arrows to flip through them, left or right.

To get back to the thumbnail view, hit the Escape key on your keyboard.

Easy?

You bet. Let's see what's out there!
